Here the subject's arms and legs are outstretched with her neck still in a relaxed position.
Her body muscles are relaxed and supple. This again is NOT catalepsy and the woman is pressing down on her legs and she sees that her whole body responds as one piece.
Again this is a deeper state than what stage hypnotists use in their demonstrations or what any hypnotists uses today that claim that they can get the Esdaile State easily with everyone..
She also has complete general anesthesia and even though she can hear, she cannot verbally or physically respond and her pupils are fixed and dilated.
